Αλλά ως προς το σχόλιο για την έλλειψη παιδείας θα ήθελα να επισημάνω οτι υπάρχουν και λαμπρές εξαιρέσεις που ίσως βέβαια να επιβεβαιώνουν τον κανόνα. Τα περισσότερα μουσεία της πόλης προσφέρουν μουσειοπαιδαγωγικά προγράμματα, ή προσέφεραν, τουλάχιστον πρίν την κρίση. Συγκεκριμένα, θα μπορούσα να αναφέρω το Τελλόγλειο Ίδρυμα στο οποίο είχα εργαστεί και το οποίο προσέφερε ξεναγήσεις και εκπαιδευτικές δραστηριότητητες για τους μικρούς μαθητές. Το πρώτο έτος της λειτουργίας του, 1999-2000, θυμάμαι οτι υπήρχαν μέρες που επισκέπτονταν την έκθεση τρία σχολεία την ημέρα, κάποιες φορές ακόμη και τις Κυριακές. Αφού γινόταν η ξενάγηση, τα παιδιά μεταξύ 5-12 χρόνων συμμετείχαν σε εικαστικά δρώμενα και καλλιτεχνικές δραστηριότητες που ανακεφαλαίωναν ή εκμεταλλεύονταν δημιουργικά τις πληροφορίες και τα ερεθίσματα που μετέδιδε η ξενάγηση. Υπήρχε κι ένα αμαξάκι με σύνεργα και υλικά, η ‘Τεχνάμαξα Ίριδα’, που είχαμε φτιάξει μόνοι μας, και την βγάζαμε από το δωμάτιο των εικαστικών στο κέντρο του μεγάλου χώρου του ισογείου μπροστά στα έκπληκτα μάτια των παιδιών. ‘Εμείς’ δεν είμασταν τότε ακόμη μολυσμένοι με την ακριβοπληρωμένη γνώση των πανεπιστημίων του εξωτερικού, ούτε είχαμε την κατάρτιση σπουδαίων μεταμοντέρνων μουσειοπαιδαγωγών. Ήμασταν φοιτητές του ΑΠΘ, των τμημάτων Αρχαιολογίας και Ιστορίας της Τέχνης, της Μουσικολογίας, των Καλών Τεχνών, και του Παιδαγωγικού. Οι καθηγητές μας όπως και η διεύθυνση του Ιδρύματος πίστευαν στη διασύνδεση των μουσείων της πόλης με τους νέους σπουδαστές. Έτσι βρέθηκαν μελλοντικοί δάσκαλοι να βοηθούν στις ξεναγήσεις μαθητών, νεόδμητοι Ιστορικοί της Τέχνης να μιλούν σε παιδιά προσπαθώντας να ξεχάσουν τη σοβαροφάνεια του επιστημονικού λόγου, νέοι καλλιτέχνες να στήνουν τα έργα των παλιών, και νέοι μουσικοί να oργανώνουν μουσικές παραστάσεις. Αυτή είναι η γέφυρα μεταξύ ζωής και τέχνης που λείπει για να δώσει νόημα στο μουσείο, στο Ίδρυμα, στις εγκαταστάσεις στο δρόμο. Στο μέτρο των δυνατοτήτων του, το Τελλόγλειο προσέφερε και νομίζω συνεχίζει να προσφέρει, αυτές τις γέφυρες εν μέσω επικρίσεων, κακεντρεχών σχολίων και μικροπολιτικών ερίδων. Αυτό που έκανε την διαφορά τότε, ίσως ήταν η ad hoc λειτουργία του Ιδρύματος, η σχεδόν απόλυτη δημιουργική ελευθερία που δόθηκε στους νέους που το στελέχωσαν, και τελικά ίσως η ίδια η έλλειψη έπαρσης και πόρων. Ενα μεγάλο μάθημα για την κρίση που περνάμε σήμερα.
