1. Η ιστορική μνήμη του κτιρίου και το μέλλον του.
2. Η σύγχρονη αντίδραση από ανθρώπους που υποτίθεται οτι ομνύονται στο όνομα της πολυσυλλεκτικότητας και άλλων ωραίων ιδανικών. Στο Δημοτικό Συμβούλιο ξαναέγινε θέμα.

Και δεν εγκαλώ τους εργαζόμενους ως έννοια – εγκαλώ αυτούς που αναρτούσαν πανό περί ιστορικής μνήμης. Και παραθέτω και τα λόγια του Δημάρχου από το παρελθόν που εκφράζουν καλύτερα το νόημα:

“Δεν έχει νόημα να απολογούμαστε εμείς σήμερα για τις πράξεις τους –η ευθύνη ούτε συλλογική είναι ούτε και μεταβιβάζεται. Αναγνωρίζουμε ωστόσο ότι οι θεσμοί που εκπροσωπούμε (αλλά και αποδεχόμαστε να μας εκπροσωπούν), δεν γεννήθηκαν χτες. Έχουν από πίσω τους μια ιστορία, είναι φορείς μνήμης με συνέχεια στο χρόνο.”

Το κτίριο παραμένει ως κτίριο παροχής κοινωνικών υπηρεσιών. Το όνομα αλλάζει από θρησκευτικό γιατί α) οι χριστιανοι θα έπρεπε να προσβάλλονται το όνομα ενός αγίου τους να συνδέεται με αγοραπωλησίες βρεφών και β) ένα κτίριο κοινωνικών υπηρεσιών δεν μπορεί να συνδέει το όνομά μου με καμιά θρησκεία.
Ο Δήμος εξαγοράζει από την ΙΚΘ το κτίριο και οικλόπεδο ή βρίσκει μια κοινά αποδεκτή λύση η οποία όμως δεν περιλαμβάνει κανένα κομμάτι καινούργιας κατασκευής.
Το νέο ίδρυμα θα περιλαμβάνει μέσα στο όνομά του το Σχολη Καζές (έστω και κάτι σαν “Πρώην Σχολή Καζες”) και μέσα στο χώρο βρίσκεται έστω και μια γωνίτσα ώστε να παρουσιάζεται η ιστορία του.
Είναι δύσκολο να εγκαλεις το σημερινό προσωπικό μια και αμφιβάλλω ότι γνωρίζουν την ιστορία.
Πιτσιρικάς έπαιζα σ αυτή την γειτονιά το κτίριο το ήξερα αλλά αμφιβάλω αν κενίς ήξερε την ιστορία του.
