«Καθόλου τυχαία μαζί» είναι ο τίτλος της ομαδικής έκθεσης φωτογραφίας που εγκαινιάζει ο Δήμος Θεσσαλονίκης στο πλαίσιο εορτασμού των 100 χρόνων από την απελευθέρωση της πόλης, σε συνεργασία με το Φωτογραφικό Κέντρο Θεσσαλονίκης, τη Δευτέρα 15-10-12 και ώρα 19:30 στον εκθεσιακό χώρο «Γενί Τζαμί» (Παλαιό Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο).

 Στην έκθεση συμμετέχουν οι καλλιτέχνες Boris Kramaric (Κροατία), Dubravka Lazic (Σερβία), Elcin Acun (Τουρκία), Murat Haner (Τουρκία), Derya Kilic (Τουρκία), Seckin Tercan (Τουρκία),  Βιβή Δασκαλοπούλου, Δημήτρης Ζωγράφος, Αργύρης Λιαπόπουλος, Μάνος Χρυσοβέργης, Έλενα Γανδά, Ελπίδα Κάτσικα, Ιορδάνης Στυλίδης και Ανδρέας Σκρέλη.                                                                                                                                              

Η επιμέλεια της έκθεσης ανήκει στον Βασίλη Καρκατσέλη και η παραγωγή  στο Φωτογραφικό Κέντρο Θεσσαλονίκης.    

Η έκθεση εντάσσεται στο πλαίσιο των εκδηλώσεων “Aspects of Balkan Photography. Νέα διαδρομή σε καιρούς κρίσης”  Θεσσαλονίκη 2012”.

Το Φωτογραφικό Κέντρο Θεσσαλονίκης για δέκατη έκτη χρονιά, συνεχίζει το θεσμό των συναντήσεων της Βαλκανικής Φωτογραφίας στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Για φέτος διοργανώνει σειρά παράλληλων εκθέσεων, ημερίδων, workshop (εργαστηρίων),  διαλέξεων, προβολών και άλλων εκδηλώσεων στην πόλη, την περίοδο Σεπτεμβρίου – Οκτωβρίου του 2012, με την συμμετοχή φωτογράφων από χώρες  της Βαλκανικής. Παρουσιάζονται, ως προτάσεις συνεργασίας δυναμικών ενεργών κέντρων της φωτογραφικής τέχνης, σημαντικές τάσεις της σύγχρονης φωτογραφίας στη συγκεκριμένη περιοχή της Ευρώπης. Από το σύνολο των εκθέσεων γίνονται εμφανείς  οι συγκλίσεις και αποκλίσεις από την σημερινή Ευρωπαϊκή φωτογραφία, στο επίπεδο του περιεχομένου και της γραφής, καθώς και οι επί μέρους ιδιαιτερότητες που χαρακτηρίζουν το μωσαϊκό των λαών, που κατοικούν στα Βαλκάνια.

 Αυτή η σειρά εκδηλώσεων  έχει τεθεί υπό την αιγίδα του  Υπουργείου Παιδείας και Θρησκευμάτων, Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού (Τομέας Πολιτισμού).

Η διάρκεια της έκθεσης είναι από 4 έως 27 Οκτωβρίου 2012
