Μέσα στην τρέλα των ημερών , ανάμεσα σε αντίδωρα και κασέτες, σε κληρικούς και δικαστές, ξαναμπήκε αθόρυβα στην πολιτική ζωή ο Κάρολος Παπούλιας.
Δεν θα εξετάσω κάτω από ποιούς πολιτικούς συσχετισμούς ή κομματικές συναινέσεις έγινε αυτή η εκλογή, ούτε αν ήταν καλός ή κακός υπουργός.
Θα ήθελα μόνο να πω ότι χαίρομαι γιατί…   …την ώρα που προσωπικές στιγμές κάθε επίορκου δικαστή ή κληρικού γίνονται θέμα στην TV, ένας άνθρωπος με προσωπικές αρετές γίνεται ο πρώτος πολίτης της χώρας .

Πρώην αθλητής και μέχρι πρότεινος πρόεδρος αθλητικού συλλόγου, πρόεδρος της Εταιρίας Διάδωσης της Ελληνικής γλώσσας, κυνηγός ( ελπίζω να μην χρειαστεί να πάρει τα βουνά από ανάγκη αλλά από αγάπη για τη φύση), και τσομπάνης, παρακαλώ.

Όχι βέβαια γιατί ηγείται 10 εκατομμυρίων προβάτων, αλλά γιατί όπως πληροφορήθηκα δηλώνει στη φορολογική του δήλωση κάτοχος 250 αιγοπροβάτων.

Νομίζω ότι είναι πολύ παρήγορο, μέσα στην τρέλα των ημερών που ζούμε,ο Πρώτος Πολίτης της χώρας να δηλώνει και τσομπάνης, κάτοχος 250 αιγοπρβάτων  και ΟΧΙ κάτοχος 1250 τ.μ. βίλας στην Εκάλη.
