Mon, 12 Oct 2009 17:08:20 +0000http://thess.gr/blog/?p=1404#comment-1183O διαγωνισμός του ’89 για το κτίριο είχε λάβει υπόψη του και διάφορα άλλα θέματα: πχ ότι η έκθεση θα ήταν ήδη πράσινο, οτι το κτίριο αυτό θα ήτνα πολύ μικρότερο σε τετραγωνικά, οτι θα εντασσόταν στο δίκτυο των μουσείων που υπάρχουν γύρω του κτλ κτλ κοκ. Ο αρχικός εκείνος σχεδιασμός φυσικά ουδέποτε υλοποιήθηκε, οπότε τώρα το κτίριο χάσκει άσχετο με το όλο θέμα και τον περιβάλλων χώρο. Ακόμα και αρχιτέκτονες που υποστηρίζαμε το κτίριο ως παρέμβαση στην πόλη έχουμε αλλάξει τελείως άποψη για το θέμα, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του υπογράφοντα το σχόλιο.

Mon, 12 Oct 2009 11:03:38 +0000http://thess.gr/blog/?p=1404#comment-1180μα αυτό ακριβώς είναι το θέμα, είναι τραγικό να συμβιβαζόμαστε με ένα δημαρχείο το οποίο σχεδιάστηκε για τη Θεσσαλονίκη του 1989, η πόλη έχει αλλάξει πάρα πολύ τα τελευταία 20 χρόνια και θα συνεχίσει να αλλάζει. Γιατί και ποιος αποφάσισε τότε και τώρα να υλοποιηθεί το εν λόγω κτίριο? και όχι η συζήτηση δεν γίνεται μόνο για την αρχιτεκτονική αξία του κτιρίου αλλά για το πως τελικά διαμορφώνεται ο δημόσιος χώρος της πόλης και κατά πόσο οι πολίτες συμμετέχουμε σ’ αυτές τις διαδικασίες, κατά την ταπεινή μου γνώμη.

Από τότε υπήρξαν κριτικές για την καταλληλότητα του οικοπέδου και όχι μόνο. Ήδη περιμέναμε πάρα πολύ λοιπόν …
