Are there models for what these will look like? Can people look at them and provide input at all? Do we have any access to the plans at all?

I am personally more offended by the fact that the citizens of a democratic city have NO say in what projects get proposed, their design and implementation, than anything else really. I cannot believe people put up with this. We should demand to see the plans, and be allowed to offer improvements, alternatives, or have the money spent more wisely on things the city really needs. It may actually be that the city does need the marinas, but let the CITIZENS decide!
